Възвратните местоимения показват, че действието се връща обратно към лицето, което го извършва. 😃 Reflexive pronouns show that the action reflect to the subject.

Всяко от възвратните местоимения се използва със своя двойник лично местоимение, когато личното местоимение е подлог в изречението.😃 Each one can be used only with its personal counterpart when that personal pronoun is the subject of the sentence. (I with myself, you with yourself, etc.)

I can do it myself.         (I is subject; myself is personal counterpart to I)

You can help yourself to some candy.

He burned himself.                     

She is going to be proud of herself. 

It hid itself under the rock.                  

We enjoyed ourselves at the party.             

You must clean yourselves before lunch.         

They found themselves in a strange situation. 

Ако възвратното местоимение и личното местоимение не са двойници , тогава друго лично местоимение трябва да бъде използвано на мястото на възвратното.😃

If the reflexive pronoun and the personal pronoun are not counterparts, then personal pronoun should be used in the sentence at the place of counterpart.

They blamed themselves for the accident.	They blamed me for the accident.

Remember: The reflexive pronouns are crucial in understanding the meaning of the sentence. If the same pronouns are used but not needed, they are called intensive pronouns.

Reflexive pronouns: The girl bought herself an ice-cream.

                                      Момичето си купило (купило на себе си) сладолед.

Intensive pronouns: The girl bought an ice-cream herself.

                                     Момичето купило сладолед лично.
