My family

My family 

My grandparents organized a family reunion today. My stepfather drove the car while my mother, my half-brother and I sat in the back. We went to my aunt and uncle’s house first. They were already waiting for us, so they got in their car and drove behind us. Then we all went to pick up my other aunt. She and my cousin decided to carpool with us, so she had to hold my cousin in her lap. After everyone was loaded in, we headed to my grandparents’ home. By the time we got there, the rest of the family had gathered. We went around and hugged everybody and then we sat down to have lunch. One of my cousins sat on my right and we talked the whole time. She told me about her little adopted sister. She was 3 months old and my cousin was obsessed with her. She told me about the funny faces the baby made and how confused she looked when my cousin was playing peek-a-boo with her. After we finished the meal, we went outside to play volleyball with the rest of my extended family. At the end of the day we said goodbye to everyone and headed back home.
